Find out how one Legallybetter law firm member - Bennett's Legal - is using our site to spread the word about its reputation by reading our Case Study

Paul Bennett, founder of Bennett's Legal states "Consumer comparison sites are well-established but law firms can be reluctant to be "compared", something I understand. But an increasing number of commercial clients find traditional printed directories expensive and lacking independent feedback and are drawn towards online directories. We considered these factors and decided that the opportunity to attract private clients and businesses on the basis of our reputation is something that cannot be ignored. That's why we chose to utilise Legallybetter".

Our new Legallybetter Consumer Guide: 'Find Solicitors on the Internet - A Consumer Guide to Legal Sites' provides a quick guide to some of the new legal web sites

The Internet is now used more than any other source (apart from friends and family) to find a solicitor and websites are emerging to help you find a solicitor and choose the right legal representation for you.

Choosing a solicitor is an important decision but traditional methods like local phone books and directories tell you nothing about the quality of service available or the suitability of a specific legal adviser for your specific problem.

These new websites offer more effective ways to find a solicitor and some of the leading sites are described in this PDF Guide.

Law Firms in Shock as Comparison Site Hits Web - But is that the Right Reaction?

Jo Reevy writing in Words4Business notes that "law firm partners will be shocked by the announcement that a comparison website in the form of Legallybetter has been launched which will allow clients to rate law firms independently for service quality and to display the results publicly." He asks "Is this a threat or an opportunity?". The article adds "law firm marketing expert Jon Hepburn - the brains behind Legallybetter- explained to me that for firms that really do offer excellent client service, it is a great opportunity to show how they shine. For those who talk the talk but do not walk the walk it is a clarion call to improve -fast."
