How Feedback Works

Help Spread the word about Law Firms and Solicitors and you could win £100!

This is where you come in ..... if you have been a client of a law firm or solicitor in the last 24 months and you are able to provide some feedback about the service provided we would like to hear from you. The feedback form takes a few minutes to complete, and once submitted to us you will be entered into a monthly prize draw for the next 6 months with the opportunity to win £100 in every draw.

The feedback form asks you to provide a 'star rating' (Legal Stars) based on five service areas plus we ask for some written comments from you about the service you received from your legal adviser.

Your full personal details (full name, contact details) are never included on our website. You will be asked to supply a display name (e.g. your initials, or first name) and this will be placed on the site. Your full contact details are required by us to verify the authenticity of your submission, and to include you in the prize draw, and will be kept in a secure database and not passed to any third parties except the law firm that you have reviewed.

Legal Stars

The star ratings you provide rate the service you received from your law firm from 1 star (the minimum, very poor) to 5 stars (maximum rating, excellent). The ratings cover the following five service criteria:

  • Quality of advice - to what extent were you satisfied with the quality of advice given?
  • Value for money - this is not about price alone but was the service received good value for money?
  • Efficiency and speed of service - did you feel that you were kept informed of developments in a timely fashion?
  • Helpfulness - were staff courteous and responsive?
  • Communication and use of plain English - were you able to understand the information they supplied to you?

Comments you Provide

  • These will be sent to the law firm for their appraisal and verification. It is their decision whether to publish these comments.
  • It is part of the participating law firm's agreement with Legallybetter that they confirm they will not post any feedback that is not genuine, misleading, misquoted or offensive in any way.
  • All feedback is monitored and moderated before publication.

Notes

  • The site is intended to promote better service within the legal profession and so enable you to make an informed decision on your choice of law firm. All comments will be forwarded to the firm concerned. This does not replace the firm's complaints procedure that you should follow in addition to any messages you leave on the website.
  • If you have a formal complaint to make about the law firm you used, please write to The Senior Partner at the relevant firm.
  • This is not a site for extreme views. Comments that are vulgar, obscene, or racist will not be included. Neither will feedback containing links or scripts.
  • If you are concerned or have a complaint about any posting on this site, please click here to email us.
